Elvis Jesus Vs Paul Oakenfold

After sponsoring world renowned DJ Paul Oakenfold on his last world tour as well as Madonna’s Celebration tour, a strong relationship was formed with the exciting idea of working more closely together… Elvis Jesus  took it one step further and designed an exclusive t-shirt in anticipation of Paul’s upcoming ‘POP KILLER’ album launch.

Paul loves the design and has been spotted rocking the ‘POP KILLER’ tee across the globe on his current tour. A limited amount have been made, each tee is numbered, signed and embedded with a quote from Paul.

These eagerly awaited tees will be launched August 30th and are exclusively available @ elvisjesus.co.uk.

Paul Oakenfold – We Are Planet Perfecto, Vol. 2

There are new stars emerging from the electronic scene all the time but there is one uber star – whose illustrious career spans the genre’s entire history and who has consistently been at the cutting edge since day one.

Paul Oakenfold’s contribution to the birth, growth and evolution of EDM is an epic story of legendary proportions and his extensive discography documents each stage of this incredible journey.

One of the new highly acclaimed annual contributors to that discography is Paul’s exciting We Are Planet Perfecto compilation series and this year’s release sees a focus on the sound Paul Oakenfold plays at his live shows stateside.

Being the first international DJ to have “broken America” Paul has toured the length and breadth of the country continuously for the last twenty years. Moving to Los Angeles in the early 00′s Paul made the US his home and focus of his career both as a DJ and film score producer.

Featuring smokin’ hot tracks and remixes from Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Tommy Trash, John Dahlback, Richard Beynon and of course Paul himself – We Are Planet Perfecto Vol. 2 gives listeners and fans worldwide a taste of what US clubbers experience at a Paul Oakenfold live show today.

This is Paul Oakenfold in America… bringing US together.

Tune Of The Day: Michael S. – “Rewind”

This Chicago artist Michael S is going to be massive. He’s got a smooth and powerful voice and badass meaningful hooks. I love how fresh and original his stuff is. Paul Oakenfold recently signed him to Perfecto Records and has so much respect for this young guy. He’s been making music, producing, and performing since he was 15!

He came on stage and performed with Paul in Chicago last month. The crowd loved him. When you hear him, he just makes you move.

Pre-order: Paul Oakenfold – Four Seasons – Spring

Following the highly acclaimed release of “Winter” at the start of the year – “Spring” is the second compilation from electronic music pioneer Paul Oakenfold’s Four Seasons album & live show concept.

As the sun finally returns and a new season blossoms Paul Oakenfold marks the occasion with a fresh and exciting mix album filled with a vibrant blend of music that reflects perfectly the transition from dark to light.

With a cutting edge tracklist featuring music from many of Paul’s current favourite producers including Beatman & Ludmilla, Federation, Thomas Datt, Robert Vadney, Protoculture, Eximinds, Eshericks and Magnus this mix showcases once again the seamless programming and soundscape creation skills of one of the few headline DJs of today that is truly worthy of the title legend.

From the opening lush, ambient chords and haunting, atmospheric pipes of Prayag Rishab’s beautiful mix of “All Good Things” through to the closing indie-breaks anthem “About to Fall” from Future Funk Squad and Beatman & Ludmilla – “Spring” is a melodic journey reflecting the arrival of colour and new life.

There are no genre boundaries – only great records – carefully selected and meticulously blended to create the story of “Spring”.
