AIR is a club in Amsterdam with an international look and feel. AIR represents tolerance, diversity, creativity, quality and freedom. AIR astonishes its guests with diverse programming for various target groups and its attention to service. This documentary is about the first two years of AIR and made by Harm Griekspoor.
At the young age of nine, he began his education in music with the guitar, but his passion slowly began to steer towards electronic music and the desire to compose such music. He immersed himself completely in the electronic music scene and each experience influenced his sound even more in his own productions.
Completely self taught, over the years, Tol’s eclectic catalogue increased with solid productions. Through many trials and tribulations, he finally discovered his true passion and niche in Techno music as deep, dark and experimental sounds became the “signature” of Tol Gruber’s musical compositions.
Over the years, some of Tol Gruber’s music has been played on radio stations like Cannibal radio. He has been interviewed by ART UBER ALLES and Freeze magazine and with increased experience and fine tuning in his Techno, he caught the attention of Brood Audio, which saw the potential in him and signed him as an artist.
Besides having released previously on Focus Records, Shout records, and Italo Business, he also manages his own label, Voodoo Records.
His passion continues to drive him and be the main force behind his music. With releases lined up on Brood Audio, Frakture Audio, Hybrid Confusion and keeping busy in the studio, you can be sure to expect a lot more from Tol Gruber.
MYNC has a new hit track coming out called “Stadium” that is released on Calvin Harris’ record label, Fly Eye Records. The guys have already busted out big remixes of well known DJ’s, such as Avicii’s “Fade into Darkenss”, Chuckie’s “Let the Bass Kick”, and ATB’s “Heartbeat”.
The duo of Mark Brown and Richard Searle have been successful DJ’s in their own right. Each has produced and DJ’ed successfully as individuals before joining together. Mark Brown even has had his own record label for a couple years called CR2 records. He has released tracks from some huge artists, like Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, and Dirty South.
MYNC caught the attention of Calvin Harris who then decided to sign the guys to his label to release this song after hearing it being played at the Miami Winter Music Conference to great affect. They will be joining a talented roster that includes the likes of the aforementioned Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, Michael Woods, and Bart B More.
“Stadium” has the ability to be a huge track this summer that can be played in any stadium. It has a great electro sound with a sick build up that gives way to a fist-pumpers paradise.
