Afrojack, one of the world’s most prominent DJs and producers, is about to set off on the largest European summer tour in his career. For over two months, Afrojack will cross almost every border in Europe to play the continent’s most prestigious festivals and venues starting on the sixth of July. Afrojack will visit nineteen different countries in less than three months to play at an imposing total of over forty shows including Tomorrowland (Belgium), Creamfields (England), Balaton Sound (Hungary) and Global Gathering (England and Ukraine).
Besides playing at Europe’s most anticipated summer events, Afrojack adds several of his own ‘Jacked’ events to his hectic schedule. The ‘Jacked’ events at Ibiza’s legendary club Amnesia, BCM Mallorca and a ‘Jacked’ take-over during ‘F*** Me I’m Famous’ at Pacha Ibiza – hosted by world’s #1 DJ David Guetta – are assured highlights of Afrojack’s extensive summer tour.
Since the foundation of Afrojack’s ‘Jacked’ in July 2011, the party concept has expanded to one of world’s most popular club nights. R3hab, Shermanology, Apster and Bobby Burns, who all form a part of Afrojack’s valued imprint Wall Recordings, will join Afrojack during the upcoming ‘Jacked’ events and select dates of the tour.
Afrojack returns to Europe right after his first own ‘Jacked’ tour in North America. The #7 of DJ Mag’s Top 100 hosted over 40 of his infamous ‘Jacked’ parties in cities like Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Atlantic City. In addition to his own tour dates, Afrojack delivered mind-blowing performances at multiple major American festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Electric Daisy Carnival New York and Coachella.
Soon after this summer tour, Afrojack will release his long awaited album. Afrojack produced the album earlier this year during his stay in Los Angeles and will include collaborations with a number of world known artists. Afrojack will surely preview tracks of this forthcoming album during his shows in the next months.

Basto is Belgium’s freshest EDM export and is well known for his melodic brand of feel good progressive house music. His latest remix is set to become an absolute dance floor destroyer reworking classic 80’s pop royalty Spandau Ballet and their global hit Gold.
Teaming Tony Hadley’s unmistakably powerful vocals with a banging main room electronic vibe, Basto has turned the 1983 track into a contemporary dance track that is equally at home on the dancefloors as it will be on the terraces of the country’s Olympic stadia. Instantly recognizable as the Spandau Ballet hit, established fans and clubbers alike will be singing along to the catchy chorus. Spandau Ballet are no strangers to dance music. They were there at the start of the DJ culture in the late 1970s and early 80s in the clubs of Soho and throughout Europe and the world. The band were one of the first white bands to release a 12“ remix of their singles, in particular To Cut Along Story Short, an era-defining slice of electronic myth-making which took them to a huge audience, out of the clubs and into the charts. Followed closely by Chant No.1 (We Don’t Need This Pressure On), a mix of contemporary funk and modern vibes, Spandau Ballet were the coolest band in town.
Basto’s re-take of Gold manages to mix a more aggressive electronic sound with the ingredients of an energy anthem, all over an indestructible bass. It’s a strong step up from his previous big room hits like the tantalizing Gregory’s Theme, the addictive Again & Again, atmospheric Cloudbreaker (with Yves V) and gives a massive nod to his current Beatport chart topping monster, I Rave You.
As Basto himself says: “When I first decided to remix “Gold” by Spandau Ballet, I. hesitated for a moment. Usually, I’m very sceptical when it comes to reworking classics. Why would you wanna take the risk to ruin an epic record? But we managed to make it a very relevant dance track, without losing the gist of the original. It’s not a remix of an old track anymore, it’s a cool record with an epic vocal”
Basto is constantly heading club charts with his remixes including Kylie Minogue, The Wanted, Ed Sheeran and Flo-Rida to the recent smash hit 212 from Azelia Banks featuring Lazy Jay, Conor Maynard, Stooshe ft. Travie McCoy, Lil John ft. LMFAO, Labrinth, Moby and Sander Van Doorn.
Early versions of this contender for 2012’s summer festival anthem have been roaming around the internet for quite some time now, but NERVO’s much anticipated tune ‘You’re Gonna Love Again’ was officially released last Monday.
Mim and Liv have delivered a modern Progressive House classic by applying their own compelling vocals to this melodic gem, making sure this record will be the peak of all shows during their US and UK summer tour!
Two-time Grammy winning internationally respected artist/producer/DJ David Guetta has announced massive headline, bank holiday weekend shows at London’s Alexandra Palace on Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd June 2012.
DJ Magazine’s Number 1 DJ in World David Guetta cemented his status with 2009’s multi-platinum One Love; a genre-busting hitmaker whose in-your-face fusion of electro and hip-hop beautifully warps the pop landscape. Now, with his fifth studio album Nothing But The Beat (out now), Guetta builds on that breakthrough momentum and takes his decades-spanning career to a frenetic new level marked by bigger hooks and more brain-bending beats.
For help in blowing up those musical boundaries, Guetta assembled an A-team of collaborators sure to thrill enthusiasts from all ends of the pop spectrum. Nothing But The Beat features no fewer than 17 guest artists, from hip-hop royalty (Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Timbaland) and game-changing rappers (Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne) to R&B superstars (Usher, Chris Brown, Akon) and breakout pop acts (Dev, Jessie J). Rounded out by Jennifer Hudson, Flo Rida, Taio Cruz, Sia, and Guetta’s “fellow mad scientist” Will.I.Am., that roster was carefully culled to guarantee a filler-free album destined to deliver hit after hit.
That sizable success isn’t nearly limited to Guetta’s work as a recording artist and DJ. In addition to selling more than 20 million records worldwide he has produced No1′s for some of the greatest stars on the planet. Guetta acted as producer on the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” (the highest-selling digital release in music history). Along with his two Grammys (one for his remix of Madonna’s “Revolver” in 2011, the other for his remix of One Love’s “When Love Takes Over), Guetta took home the Best DJ, Best Producer, and Best-Selling French Artist prizes at the 2010 World Music Awards. And having kicked off his DJ career as a teenager in his native France, Guetta also partners with his wife Cathy on promoting duties for the legendary F*** Me I’m Famous dance parties (held in locations like Ibiza, Miami, New York, and Las Vegas since 1995).
